Senior Manager- Banking

 

Our client is one of Ireland's fastest growing and dynamic Bank's. To continue to achieve their financial and competitive strategy they wish to recruit a Senior Manager. This key role within the organisation will be based in the North west of the province.


To participate in large-scale complex Property transactions where our client is an equity partner, in a team environment, building it’s exposure and reputation in the Corporate arena and meeting and exceeding financial targets in this respect that satisfy the risk appetite of our client.

Originate and work on large-scale property deals where our client is a equity partner and Senior/Mezzanine lender, through a number of contacts including internal referrals and external contacts

Ensure control of different types of deal and financial structures

Leading transaction teams through a number of deals at any one time, acting as main point of contact with external contacts including Corporate Finance Houses, financial advisors and client companies

Establish and maintain relationships with external advisors and internal Banking teams

Input and influence IAF team strategy, positioning in the marketplace and assisting in the implementation of overall IAF strategy

Ensuring compliance on all deals including legal, financial and conflict of interest.

Professional qualification desirable

Significant experience in financial services; with a focus on large-scale complex property deals

Good understanding of the Irish economy and Banking environment

Strong customer focus coupled with good judgement

Good understanding of equity risk transactions, equity return and associated structuring.

Accountancy / financial analysis background an advantage

Strong Property expertise Banking or Corporate Finance background

 

Good organisation skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks.

Ability to work on own initiative and effectively as part of a team.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise in a professional manner with internal and external contact at a senior level

Strong analytical skills

Excellent analytical skills Strong interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills
