Duties/Responsibilities
Manage and lead the Bank's development
in the Northwest. Promote the image and profile of the
bank in the region, marketing banking products to the
business sector and cross selling of the bank’s extensive
product range.
Management of client portfolio to include
achievement of targeted growth in line with budget,
control of bad debts, preservation of existing margins
and maximize income from the existing portfolio and
new clients.
Develop and maintain lasting relationships
with client base with a view to securing additional
business and capacity to identify opportunities for
additional multi-product selling of all the Banks products.
Ability to maximize sales potential
with a pro-active approach to business development.
Pro-active networking to ensure introduction
of significant new client base to increase the loan
book.
Identify suitable cases and proactively
identify new clients whilst ensuring the continuing
quality of the loan book.
Guide, influence and persuade others,
in particular credit committees and external clients
(fees and margins).
Promotion of self and Bank at all levels.
To maximise the use of resources within
the Lending team.
Lead, manage, direct and motivate staff
to ensure the potential of individuals and teams is
maximised.
Manage and ensure the provision of timely,
proactive and customer-focused information to clients
and colleagues
Act as a mentor and provide technical
guidance and information to the lending team.
