Asset Finance - Account Executive

 

 
 

To work within a team to achieve a personal and team budget through intermediaries and by direct canvassing.

Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for specific intermediary accounts & existing direct customer relationships for CAF.

Build new business activity Achieve targeted objectives for specific intermediaries & direct customers.

Participate in cross sell activity with Business Banking / Lending teams.

Liaise with Sales Support team to ensure efficient processing of deals

Ensure top class quality is achieved in underwriting and documentation.

Achieve an individual target and contribute to the overall team targets as defined.

Manage quality control in terms of underwriting and documentation.

Help to establish the Bank as the leading provider

The Person:

· Previous experience in a target driven business to business sales role

· Commercial Asset Finance and/or Lending / banking experience on a business – to – business basis an advantage but not essential.

· Ability to work on own initiative within the framework of an overall team.

· Financial analysis would be a clear advantage, but is not essential

· PC literate (Banking Systems, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel, Outlook).

· Working knowledge of Commercial Asset Finance products and procedures would be an advantage

· Good knowledge of the compliance and regulatory issues affecting commercial asset finance.

· Full driver’s licence is essential.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Quality and Project driven with attention to detail.

· Self-starter working to pre agreed targets and generating business as a remotely supported sales person from direct personal contacts.
