QUALITY MANAGER

 

 
 

The Quality Manager will be responsible for reducing internal non-conformance and assist in process and product improvement initiatives. To drive continuous improvement in the quality key performance indicators and to champion change.

Our client based in Co Tyrone are a market leader in their sector.

The Role:

Implement business improvement methodology across two business units with particular focus on reducing/eliminating waste - i.e. utilising lean/six sigma best practice.

Act as a change agent so as to alter the attitudes and work practices of personnel with regards to quality across the units - i.e. an individual who can provide a holistic approach with regards to quality.

Ensure in-house quality and production systems and processes are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of the business.

Ensure all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy customer requirements and audits.

The Person:

Educated to degree level with at least 5 years relevant experience within a QA or construction/manufacturing environment.

Or, candidates with a lesser qualification, plus significant experience will be considered.

Proven track record in the effective implementation of process improvement tools.

Has worked in a continuous improvement environment. Experience of ISO Quality Systems.
