Key Accountabilities: The
role of the H&S officer is to lead and proactively promote a positive Health &Safety
environment. This will involve:
Provision of expert advice & guidance in relation to health & safety matters
Develop, implement and manage Health & Safety strategy and policies
Conduct accident/incident investigations and risk assessments
Maintain and update the Health &Safety database
Manage risk and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain statutory books
Manage the accident register and ensure completion of statutory reports etc.
Chair the health & safety team Develop and deliver
H&S training Manage all Employer Liability Claims
Monitor and report on the H&S performance of the
company and produce timely reports Participate in
relevant project teams |
