Our client, a leading Facilities Management Company is continuing to expand its client base across Ireland with large commercial contracts in both the public and private sectors. To manage this success it is seeking to fill a newly created position of Financial Controller to lead and develop the accountancy and management information functions within the division. We are seeking a highly motivated qualified accountant, who, as part of the senior management team will contribute to the development of the company by being a business partner to the Director. Strong commercial acumen balanced with outstanding people skills is essential.

The Role:

Provide financial expertise and enhance the financial and management reporting systems

Develop and manage people, systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the business's finances

Build, manage, develop and inspire a highly responsive accounts team that is proactive in adding value to internal customers and the business

Work closely with the Director in shaping successful growth and future profitability

Contribute as a member of the senior management team to the ongoing success of the Company.

ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified

The Person:

Some 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in a commercial, industrial or manufacturing environment

Previous management experience in a medium sized company

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Highly motivated and able to motivate others

Proactive and keen to challenge in a constructive manner

Enthusiastic and energetic with a 'can do' attitude

Good commercial awareness and business 'sense'

A good 'fit' with a customer focussed, innovative organisation which values people
